The “that girl” aesthetic (which has also evolved into the “clean girl” aesthetic) is a trend that started on TikTok in late 2021 and has continued through the present day.  Healthy habits are at the center of the “that girl” lifestyle in a way that is equal parts inspirational and aspirational — think green juice, pilates, and 5am wake-up calls.

The short-form videos seen on TikTok show clips of her day, cutting from a shot of a matching workout set to prepping her chlorophyll water, to writing in her gratitude journal, to heading to a workout class, and then perhaps grabbing an acai bowl. She makes what would ordinarily be a mundane morning an experience.
